Administrators

Dr. Nancy Atkinson is from Navasota, TX, and is thrilled to return for her third year at Keyes. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from UTA and has earned a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from WGU. Ms. Atkinson furthered her academic journey by completing her doctorate in Educational Leadership from Texas Tech in August 2024.

Her educational career began in Irving ISD as a paraprofessional at Crocket Middle School. She has held various roles, including math teacher, inclusion teacher, family behavior specialist, and assistant principal. Outside of school, Mrs. Atkinson enjoys spending time with her family and her beloved four-legged companion, Tito.

Preston Daniel was born in Irving, TX and has spent 25+ years in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.  He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and History from Texas A&M University as well as a Master of Education in Educational Administration from Lamar University.  

His educational career began in Grapevine-Colleyville ISD as a middle school English teacher/coach. He has held various roles, such as high school History teacher, athletic coach, associate athletic director, director of football operations/logistics, recruiting coordinator, and research assistant.  His most recent role was as an administrative associate in Keller ISD.  

Outside of school, he enjoys spending time with family/friends, being outdoors, sports, reading, and various personal development activities. 

Rupali Sehgal is originally from New Jersey.  She has spent her entire educational career in Irving ISD and has worked in several educational capacities-- teacher, math interventionist, academic specialist, curriculum writer, and now Assistant Principal.This will be her third year as an AP at Keyes Elementary.

She has earned a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from UNT.

In her spare time, she likes to travel, watch football, and spend time with friends and family.
